Fred Hammond, Mary Mary, and Jessica Reedy

Here is a clip of Jessica Reedy...Okay so it won't post.  So here is a pic instead.  I know, not the same.

I've never heard of her before until this concert.  She did such an amazing job.

I can't remember how I heard about this concert but when I did, I only knew it as the Fred Hammond concert.  I really wanted to go and wanted to get nice seats.  There are moments when I get this feeling of you only live once, so do what you want and this was one of those times.

I found a friend to go with me and he was game to whatever I wanted.  This was D-Rizzy's first concert, well besides a 5th grade concert he went to and fell asleep.  So I love doing first with people.

This is us outside waiting for the doors to open.  It was suppose to open at 6p and ended up opening around 6:45p.  Yep, the concert who suppose to start at 7p.

My beautician went as well and she got her tickets buy one get one free.  Totally missed that score.  I was a little upset but really pleased with the seats I had.

There were some local people that opened and they had a Christian comedian who was the MC for the night and he was soooo funny!  I was in tears from laughing.  I have the slightest idea who he was.

Then Jessica Reedy performed who was amazing.  Then Mary Mary came on after her.

The spirit was moving and the songs were so touching.  Here is D-riz in deep thought watching Mary Mary.  I love how songs can speak to you and your situation.

Here we are chillin' waiting for them to take down the stage and get it ready for Fred.  We were so exhausted.  By this time, it was 10:30p and the main singer hadn't come out yet.  Can we say bedtime!

Fred Hammond came out just a little past 10:30p.  He sung some of the oldies but goodies.  He didn't sing No Weapon but we did leave a little early.  Well if you call 11:30p early.

Overall it was a good night.  I was very disappointed in the crowd.  The event center was half full or half empty.  However you want to say it or see it.  Well I'm glad I went and got to go.
