Need I Say More



 You know it's serious when you have to use this label.  What are your most precious things in life?  Not that aww, how precious but if something ever happens to this person or thing, then there is going to be trouble.

Well as I have been requesting moving quotes and with my previous moving experiences, I'm contemplating what I want them to move and I'll move myself.  I paid a moving company the last time I moved and they were very quick but many of my tubes got broken because of their lack of care but more on speediness, which I really liked so I didn't say anything.

Last night I got on a website that sends request to numerous companys and guess who my first call was from?  Yes, this company that I've used twice before but decided not to use them again not only because of the broken tubes but some other broken items.  I did not catch the name of the organization as Belinda was talking.  Boy, her sales pitch sounded awesome, so I had to ask again who she was with and when she told me I was like "Oh Man".  She continues and the whole time I was thinking what should I do.  She was telling me about other services they offer that didn't take place the last two times, free wardrobe boxes, and 20 free packing boxes.  So finally I had to break it to her.  I told her that I had used them before in the past but decided not to use them again and why.  Of course she was apologetic and assured that she would handpick them best movers for me.  I was thinking, she gave me this whole spill about how all their movers are trained and go through ridget training onsite and so on and how people are waiting to work for them because they are good at what they do and treat their customers great.  I just wanted to say, honey, forget the sales pitch.  They are pretty reasonably priced so they may get my business again.

I talked with another moving company today and the lady went through the companys history, the almost exact pitch of how they are "the only" company that does...I wanted to say, the previous company I just talked to are the only ones that do that too.  Man!  I think she forgot I was on the phone, well I know I sure forgot what I had on my inventory list because I started working while she was talking.  It was that long.  I wouldn't chose that company just because of the long history lesson and I had to ask before we make any reservations, can I ask you some questions that should have been said in the 30 min monologue.  How much does it cost?  I think you forgot to mention that, did you skip that paragraph? 

I know, I was yawning too.  So back to this other moving company that didn't understand the "Handle with care" theory.  Theory class wasn't my best, so I will give them a break (not literally).  The last time I moved, I made about 10 car loads of items and it wore me out.  Well this time, I really didn't want to move anything, not even my vacuum (which I will because I need to do pre and post cleaning) because packing and unpacking is alot of work.

So my "Handle with care" items, which is all my stuff but most importantly...

Yes, my scrapbooking items.  Some people may take these items lightly but check again!  They will need to pull out the whole team for this one.

Granted I don't have that many items but what I do have sure is heavy.  I may have to be there and do what I do best, supervise.  Look boys, these are my precious items, well all of these items are precious but most importantly this suitcase full of scrapbook items need to be handled with care.  I don't normally complain but if something happens to this bag, your hide is mine.  In my nice non-passive aggressive tone!!

This would have been a great time to make a moving advent calendar.  Man, why didn't I think of that while I was at the lake.  Oh well, count down is almost here.

Lord, I know you are always with me in every decision I make.  I pray that you will help me make the right decision.  Not only in this move but with life in general.  Thank you for listening to me moan and groan about everything but most importantly thank you for your forgiveness.  I have assurance that whereever I move, it will be the right choice.  I am safe in your arms and really stand on what I believe that no weapon formed against me shall prosper because I am yours.  Lord, help me to stop listening to people but to what you have to say to me.  I love you.
